A very pretty pair of Irish pocket/travelling pistols by Trulock and Son of Dublin ca 1830.
Back action percussion locks, captive ramrods, blued steel furniture, ovate form barrels with “Trulock and Son Dublin” and Irish marks to them.
In their red velvet lined mahogany case together with numerous accessories including flask, mould, nipple key and ramrod.
The pistols themselves retain some 80%+ of their original finish with certain light fading to the barrel brown, traces of case hardening colour to the tang, breech plug and lock plate which are all crisp with some patination and original blue to the trigger guards, ramrod pipes and finial. The guns have the impressed number “1516″ to both butts below the front strap.
