Up to five years ago the business was run by its founder Mr Robin Wigington, a very well known and respected figure in the arms collecting and museum circles.
Robin’s death some four years ago after a long illness resulted in the sale of the business which was taken over and reorganised by Anthony Hallam and George Yannaghas, both of whom have many years experience in both the antique and modern arms collecting fields.
We seek to provide the same quality service which Robin gave to his customers for the last forty years. We intend to deal only in the best quality items in the best condition available.
We are proud to offer a selection of our stock items for your inspection on this website and emphasise that we only publish a selection here. Our stock at Reindeer Antiques is very extensive and we are more than happy to respond to any enquiries or requests for any firearms or armour related items which you may be seeking.
Our business is founded on a fundamental principle; we only offer for sale items which are genuine, correctly described and in good condition. We reserve the right to carry out limited and proper restoration and will tell you when this is the case.
If you purchase from us any piece and it is not as described by us, we will refund you your money providing you notify us within ten days of receipt.
Items for Sale
All the items we offer for sale are original and authentic unless we clearly indicate otherwise. We take great care in our descriptions both of the item itself and of its condition, and make every effort to illustrate each item with good, clear photographs, including detailed close-ups.
Descriptions will include any defects, replaced parts or restoration work known to us. Prospective buyers are more than welcome to contact us for further details and illustrations if required.
